Remarks:
(i) Same level product as the specification is acceptable.
(ii) Based on the interests of the University of Macau, the University has the right to make a decision on not to award, or only choose to award some of the item(s) stated in the quotation, or to award the item(s) to different bidders.
(iii) If the bidder proposes multiple options, the University will only consider the two options with the highest prices for evaluation.
(iv) The unit price provided by the bidder should already include all expenses and costs incurred (i.e., these expenses and costs should not be quoted as separate items but must be included in the item price), including but not limited to:
i. All designs, detailed designs, drawing productions, temporary water and electricity connections, workstations, machinery and equipment required for work execution / service provision / goods delivery;
ii. Supply, transportation, customs clearance, taxes, fees, storage, installation, commissioning, acceptance, maintenance, and insurance of goods/materials;
iii. All necessary procedures, works, manpowers and any other hidden items;
iv. Insurance required by the relevant laws and regulations of the Macau SAR, as well as the expenses and costs for purchasing third-party insurance and service insurance if required by the University. For the purpose of protection, the beneficiary of the insurance policy must include the University. Before purchasing the insurance, the contractor/awardee must submit relevant information regarding the policy content, the coverage, and the insurance company to the responsible department of the University. The purchase can be made only after obtaining approval from the University.
(v) Bank charges related to wire transfers will be fully borne by the awardee.
(vi) If the quoted price is not in Macau Dollars, please quote in US Dollars or in HK Dollars and provide information of a bank account that can receive payment in foreign currencies.
(vii) If information such as delivery period, warranty period, price and/or other information submitted by the bidder is/are inconsistent with the information which he/she has stated in this “Quotation Form”, the relevant information shall be deemed invalid, while the information he/she has stated in this “Quotation Form” shall prevail and shall be used as the

basis for tender selection and award.
(viii) Macau local bidders clearly understand that even if awarded, it cannot serve as a justification for applying non-resident workers quota in future.
(ix) A bidder cannot have representative(s) in common with another bidder, whether he/she is a natural person or a current institutional members (including but not limited to board members, administrators and major shareholders of limited companies).
(x) The awarding criterion for this Request for Quotation is based on “the lowest amount that meets the requirements”. In the event of multiple quotations having the same bidding price, the awarding decision will be made according to the following order of priority:
(1) Local company;
(2) The quotation that offers a shorter delivery period;
(3) The quotation with the earliest submission time.
